Privacy Policy

• Your data stays on this phone. No accounts, no servers of ours.
• No ads, analytics or tracking. We don't sell or share anything.
• Apple Health is optional. Health data never leaves your phone and is never used for ads.
• Delete everything with one button in Privacy, or by deleting the app.

To work out your goal and progress, Water Me(ow) stores on your phone: your onboarding answers (sex, weight, activity, climate, wake-up and bed times, units, daily goal), the drinks you log with their times, your custom drinks and settings such as Stefan's outfit and reminders.

If phone backups are on (iCloud or a computer), this data is included. Apple handles those backups, not us.

Only with your permission. The app writes water, caffeine and sugar to Health for drinks added after you turn it on, and deleting a drink removes it there too. It reads your sex and latest weight to suggest a goal during onboarding.

Health data is never sent anywhere or used for advertising or marketing. You can withdraw access in the gear menu (Apple Health) or in the Health app: Sharing → Apps → Water Me(ow).

Reminders are scheduled by your phone itself. Nothing is sent from a server.

Premium is bought in the App Store. Apple handles the payment and the app only learns whether Premium is active. We never see your payment details.

Links to sources (e.g. for drink hydration factors) open in your browser, on sites with their own privacy policies.

This website uses no cookies, analytics or forms. It loads nothing from other services and only remembers your chosen language in your browser.

Swipe to delete a single drink in Today or in the streak calendar. Everything at once: “Delete all data” in Privacy (drinks, profile and settings; drinks in Health too if you choose) or delete the app. Anything written to Health can also be deleted in the Health app.

Your data is only on your phone, so we have no access to it, and you can view, change or delete it in the app at any time. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
